Who’s in the Leasing Office Now?

Villa’s Musical Chairs

Well, if anyone’s noticed, (and I know you have!), we have a new friend in the Leasing Office! His name is John (not to be confused with our new cleanertechguard, John…hereafter referred to as John C.). Leasing office John, unlike our previous contestants, comes with a set of instructions for use:

  1. Do not express any ideas more than 1 sentence in length to John, as his brain becomes full and unpredictable results may occur.

  2. If possible, when requesting a work order, see to it that John writes it down on an official work order sheet. His just writing it down carries no guarantee that it will reach anyone in the maintenance department. Work orders written on the backs of rent deposit slips, for example, take longer to process as the people at National City Bank do not have our shop phone number.

  3. Do not ask John for his opinion concerning maintenance problems in your suite. He will be glad to give it, and nobody wants that…

  4. Do not approach John when he is out and about on one of his daily strolls. John can smell intelligence and his objective is to suck it out of you.

  5. Lastly, do not fear…it’s always darkest before the dawn. Johns days are numbered, and a new day is coming.

Winter Tip:

While cleaning the snow off your car during the winter months the maintenance staff would appreciate if you brush as much snow onto the sidewalks as possible. This allows the maintenance staff to remove the snow from the sidewalks two or possibly three times a day!
